SECTOR-WIDE

The AISI’s Sector-Wide Technology Development and Accreditation Programme supports the advanced manufacturing sector by improving competitiveness, productivity and quality management systems, and by opening access to new markets and opportunities through technology development, enhancement, and relevant standards and accreditation.

By supporting SMMEs to meet quality and sector-specific requirements such as ISO, it boosts market access, competitiveness, and innovation.

The programme also broadens the industrial base, integrates local suppliers into high-value supply chains, and positions South Africa as a trusted source of technology-driven products.

Our goal is to strengthen industrial capability and global competitiveness through accreditation and technology support.
