The AISI invites eligible advanced manufacturing companies to apply for participation in the Sector-Wide Technology Development and Accreditation Programme. This Expression of Interest focuses on identifying advanced manufacturing companies, including both SMMEs and non-SMMEs, that will benefit from targeted interventions. Successful applicants will receive financial and technical support aimed at improving their technological capabilities, achieving relevant industry accreditations, and facilitating their integration into both local and global supply chains.
This programme aims to enhance industry competitiveness through the following key interventions:

- Technology Enhancement
The AISI is an initiative of the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition. It is hosted and managed by the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research, with the specific mandate of driving industrial development.

Prospective beneficiaries may submit applications anytime until Friday, 20 March 2026, before 16:30. Submissions will be evaluated monthly as they are received, continuing until the closing date.
