The AISI invites eligible advanced manufacturing companies to apply for participation in the Aerospace and Defence Technology Based Industry and Supplier Development Programme. This call is aimed at identifying aerospace and defence advanced manufacturing companies (SMMEs and non-SMMEs) who will benefit from the interventions. Successful applicants will receive financial and technical support to improve capabilities, secure relevant accreditations, and integrate into local and global supply chains.
The AISI is an initiative of the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition. The AISI is hosted and managed by the CSIR and has a specific aim of industrial development.
This programme enhances industry competitiveness through the following key interventions:
- Standards and Accreditation Support
- Process Development and Optimisation
- Technology Enhancement

Prospective beneficiaries may submit applications anytime until Friday, 20 March 2026, before 16:30. Submissions will be evaluated monthly as they are received, continuing until the closing date.
